Andrew Hamilton (Executive Officer)

In the office Wednesday, Thursday

Andrew is responsible for the overall implementation of the Board approved strategic direction and policy of the organisation including financial management and governance structure. With a background in Funds and Sports Management and now Medical, Andrew has an extensive knowledge of the not-for-profit industry and the issues faced by associations. His focus is always on what is best for the industry and the membership and while he does not have a background in naturopathy or herbalism his approach will be the same and will spend time listening to the members, understanding their specific needs and putting the necessary strategies in place to improve the member services and service to members. 

Diana Bechara (Accounts & Administration Officer) 

In the office Wednesdays and Thursdays

Diana is responsible for accounts and office administration support. Diana started working for the NHAA as office assistant in October 2009. She is a mother of 2 teenage boys and is kept very busy with family life.  With a husband as an ex police officer she has also increased security consciousness at the office, which means our staff keep getting locked out.  She enjoys aqua aerobics, craft, music and reading.

Clair Ingleton (Membership & Administration Officer) 

In the office Wednesdays and Fridays 

Clair's main responsibilities are processing new memberships and renewals, updating the membership database and any member related inquiries. Clair is also a practicing naturopath who has a clinic in the city. Her main areas of interest within naturopathy are womens and children’s health. Clair is passionate about re-educating adults and children about choosing a healthy enjoyable lifestyle and eating delicious wholesome foods. When not working, Clair is usually cooking something delicious for her family or is outside getting back to nature.

Claire Liu (Financial Accountant)

In the office Tuesday & Wednesday

Claire is responsible for overall financial function of NHAA including P&L analysis, management reporting and budgeting.

Claire has more than 10 years post qualification experience in financial and management accounting including transactional processing for month end and year end reporting, analysis of P&L, process and financial system improvement, forecasting and budgeting, training and mentoring staff and overseeing daily operation of finance function. Claire’s most recent experience is with  multinational medical devices companies as a management accountant.

Claire is a member of Chartered Practicing Accountants.

Julia Percich (Health Funds Compliance Officer)

In the office Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

Julia is responsible for liaising with and updating compliance requirements as required by the health funds, managing health fund audits, assisting with the negotiation of new health fund contracts, updating and maintaining the Association database with any member insurance, first aid certificate and clinic changes and liaising and assisting members as required.

Natalie Symkowiak (Communications Officer)

Works remotely

Natalie is responsible for updating and managing the website, eNews production and overseeing social media.
