Diana Bowman (Director)

DBOriginally a teacher with the Adult Basic Education Unit, TAFE NSW. Diana moved to Queensland in 1992 and studied Naturopathy at the Academy of Natural Therapies. After graduation, she co-owned a multi-modality practice in South Tweed Heads which centred on family wellbeing. Diana has maintained her private practice as a Naturopath in various clinics over the years, but always focussing on children’s health.

Returning to the classroom in 2000, with Endeavour College of Natural Health (formally Australian College of Natural Medicine), Diana continues to teach Botany and Clinical Herbal Medicine as well as supervising Naturopathic student clinics. In 2007, Diana completed a Master’s degree in Health Science (Herbal Medicine) at UNE and upgraded her original Diploma qualification in Naturopathy to a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science (Naturopathy) in 2008.

In 2016 she was accepted as a PhD candidate with the University of Technology, Sydney. Her research project is investigating the use herbal medicine to promote breastfeeding. Over the years, she has accepted a number of speaking engagements where she combines her passions into presentations about children’s health.
