Providing professional development and networking opportunities for Herbalists, Naturopaths and Students.

PCOS: and if not, then what?

The diagnosis and management of PCOS has long been inconsistent across disciplines and between different countries. There has been no consensus on the diagnostic criteria or management, and at times, it seems like every possible ovulatory or menstrual abnormality is lumped together and called PCOS, which is clearly inaccurate.

In this talk Jane will start by exploring the newly released International Evidence-based Guideline for the Assessment and Management of PCOS and discuss what it might mean for the naturopathic management of PCOS. She will then look at what might be happening if it isn’t PCOS.

The talk will include simple and complex case presentations and ponder some of the challenges of clinical practice.

Presented by Jane Hutchens
