The NHAA has a range of membership categories designed to accommodate students, general interest, professional requirements and more.

Full membership is for those who hold formal qualifications in Western herbal medicine or naturopathy, either practicing or non practicing. This membership level requires an assessment of the applicants qualifications and has ongoing requirements for continuing professional education etc.
ATSI membership is for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders with qualifications in bush medicine and Western herbal medicine.
Associate membership is an open category for those who have an interest in herbal medicine and want to be informed. It is also for those who work within the industry in a related field and for professionals who wish to keep up to date with herbal medicine and the NHAA but do not require the benefits of Full membership.
Student membership is specifically for those who are currently studying a formal course in herbal or naturopathic medicine.
Corporate membership is for those companies or corporations interested in a greater level of support for the NHAA and the complementary medicine industry.
